Why Farmers Are Protesting Against Kisan Bills

 


Since the past few days, farmers are protesting against the three kisan bills. The farmers have considered them as going all against the previous laws on agriculture. The kisan bill was passed in the month of September and it is in news since then. According to the Government of India, the bills will allow farmers to sell the crops outside the local markets so that they get more profits. Also, farmers will be able to decide the selling price before harvest. The farmers participating in the protest are mainly from Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. One main fear among them is that the union government will end MSP. 


The Indian government tried to bring the bills because earlier, the farmers had to sell their crops in the local markets only. By introducing the three laws in the Parliament, it is believed that farmers will get more scope and opportunities by directly selling the crops to anyone and at any location. As days are passing by, farmer's protest against the government is getting more intense. The present situation is such that the people of Delhi are facing massive traffic problems. Talking about the government, the officials are trying to calm the situation as soon as possible.  They are trying to explain that the government will not end MSP, which is the main reason why farmers are protesting against the kisan bills.

Canadian Investment Firm 3iQ Files Prospectus for Bitcoin Fund

A Canadian Investment f irm 3iQ filed a prospectus for Bitcoin Funds with hopes to attract retail investors with a regulated digital asset fund.
