Sourav Ganguly who is the president of Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) , suffered a mild heart attack on saturday underwent angioplasty and needs second angioplasty for two damaged coronary arteries which will be done somewhat later confirmed by Dr. Rupali Basu, MD and CEO of Woodlands hospital.
As per the top sports news blog of Times of India Sourav Ganguly who has been diagnosed with triple vessel disease will be discharged by tomorrow. The next angioplasty will be conducted after a session with Dr. Shetty who had arrived today and will be done after close examination of Ganguly’s health.

“Our nine member medical board met today at 11:30 AM with the reputed specialists on zoom platform. The consensus of the board was that deferring the angioplasty for now is deemed to be a safer option since Mr. Ganguly is stable, without any chest pain and is on optimal medical management,” Dr. Basu had said yesterday, this confirmation has been the best sports news with India’s test match on 7th of January around the corner.
