Farmers protest getting international response

 


Pop Star Rihanna took the farmers’ protest in India to her Twitter account where she has more than 100m followers along with the news of internet services shutting down in the border area of Ghazipur, Tikri and Singhu. She tweeted, “Why aren’t we talking about this?  #farmersprotest”.  


The latest entertainment articles enlighten us on who all have retweeted Rihanna’s post, which also included the controversial tweet of the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut where she tweets, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers, they are terrorists who are trying to divide India so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like the USA. Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies”. 


Soon after Riri Fenti tweeted about the protest, it opened the eyes of Bollywood and it started raising their voice in the support of farmers. The whole of Bollywood responded with #IndiaTogether and #IndiaAgainatPropaganda. Few of the famous celebrities are Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Virat Kohli and many more. The Ministry of External Affairs also reacted to Rihanna’s twitter as per the latest entertainment news.
