With the second wave of the novel coronavirus is hitting the nation and now that it is not just a concern of Mumbai but almost every state is now affected by this.
Last month the union budget was announced and before that, we all have seen the V-shape recovery of the economy of the nation. But how many of you still think that this is not going to affect our economy again? In accordance with the latest economy article by The Indian Express, two of the Nomura economists- Sonal Varma and Aurodeep Nandi have answered a few questions.
There are lesser chances of the economy going down whereas the sectors which would be affected would only be accountable for 6% of the economy. Agriculture, industries, construction, communication, and trade are the sectors that would stay highly untouched by the second wave.
The latest economy news suspect that transportation and services might be affected by the second wave but that would not be on a large scale. And they also mention that there are some positive effects of the second wave, as well. Like the vaccination, the process would increase with more cases.
